The gospel singer Amaka Okwuoha popularly known as Chioma Jesus was raised in Abia state. She started singing when she joined the scripture union at a very tender age. Due to her motivation by her pastor, she was invited to various church programs, crusades, and fellowships. Amaka got her name Chioma Jesus from one of her popular songs as she rose to fame. She has performed with renowned gospel artists like Sinach, Don Moen, Lionel Peterson, and many others.
She launched her first album in 2004 and has touched lives with her songs in the gospel music industry. The singer is popularly known for singing in her local dialect “Igbo” but had learned other Nigerian languages to make her music understood in other parts of the country.
